Usage of 404

In texting, the abbreviation 404 is commonly used to denote that one is clueless or unaware of something. The term has its origins in internet culture with the 404 error message code appearing when a page cannot be found on a website. When used in texting, 404 can be used to indicate that someone is unaware of something, or simply does not understand what is being said.
